PATA is a not-for-profit membership association that works to support growth in the Asia Pacific travel industry. We work to connect the destinations, tours, accommodation, transport and attractions of the Asia Pacific region with the UK and Irish travel trade, primarily through a series of events. We are based in London, and are run by a voluntary committee of industry professionals, and are one of the 39 worldwide PATA chapters. PATA’s goal is to educate the travel trade about everything the PATA region has to offer. TTG Media is the independent media business founded in 2013 to take over the Travel Trade Gazette and its associated media brands.
Since then TTG has gone from strength to strength, launching a string of new initiatives including the TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies programme – now entering its sixth year, the TTG LGBT events, the TTG diversity and inclusion projects and the TTG+ membership scheme. In 2019 the business united under a new vision to promote a ‘Smarter, Better, Fairer’ travel industry and saw new investment in print publishing, with the magazine now published monthly.
